    Well thank you.

I live in Alaska and mostly fish for salmon up here, with a little char thrown into the mix. Just starting to get ready for the season now and thought I would sign up and see what new ideas I could find to try out this year. Last season we had a new baby so I did not get much fishing done, but smoked salmon has become his favorite food so planning on getting plently put away this time!

sorry there Byron old buddy but Alaska is the only true American state that hasn't been destroyed by man...the Northern regions of Canada are still the untouched Wild Wilderness left..........thus God's country..

We are pretty fortune here, though every year things are getting more developed. Luckily I'm in a pretty out of the way spot so its a bit slower than most. And nothing beats being able to walk down and catch some of the best salmon around!

Thanks William. Haven,t set foot in your state since when returning from Germany in 1968 and my Northwest Orient plane refuelled in Fairbanks at the Air Base there. Recall amny years ago my late uncle showing me a film he took on the Kenai Peninsula and how thick the salmon were in the rivers there! Would love to catch just one.
