    Hi Rick B
    Thanks for the warm welcome
I'm a 67 year old fisherman, retired, and I run a private fishery. My hobbies are all to do with fishing and fly tying. I've been fishing for over 50 years and tying for 11. I'm on a forum in the UK and I'm part of a group called the Lancsy Lads as we mainly come from and fish in Lancashire.I'm not a skilled tier but get by and the trout haven't objected yet. I look forward to joining this forum and hopefully contributing.

    Hi Darwin
Yes it's a Brit invasion Now that Byrons here there could be more of us. Thanks for the welcome.

    Hi TK

Thanks for your welcome it's nice to find a few Brits in the Forum not that make a great difference. I hope to be posting once I find my feet.

    Hi Debs
Keep it informal it's Alban or Alby to my friends. Thanks for the welcome I'm not sure what to expect but I believe if your friendly people are friendly back . It may take me a while but I hope to settle in and fit in to this new forum.

    Hi CanonG
Yes, I'm sorry if I've lowered the tone of the Forum us Lancsy Lads are a bit of a rowdy bunch. I hope to have a bit of fun on this forum. See you around.

    A

    Hi Neil
Fancy coming across you here. Do they have a friends list? I haven't worked out how to get around the forum yet.
Your almost and honary member of the Lancsy Lads so maybe we should establish the group here?

    Hi Qfly
Thanks for the welcome. It already feels like I've been in the forum a while.

    Hi Avril
I write a magazine and I run a fly fishing club but I find I never stop learning . This is where joining a Forum is invaluable you learn so much from others. I'm looking forward to meeting more forum members.

Thanks Everyone for the welcome.Well fancy meeting you here too Alban,no i haven't got a friends list together
yet mate as only joined last night so still feeling my way round I'm afraid.Sounds a good plan about a Lancsy
group, maybe Byron could sort that out seeing as he hijacked us all and has been a member on here the longest
