Dubbing storage.
« on: April 01, 2009, 02:07:44 PM »
I have been searching around for a good system to store dubbing, and came across these units at Michaels Craft store in Port Coquitlam.  The cases each have seven separate compartments that hold about 2 1/2 commercial packs of dubbing.  I drill a 5/8" hole in one end of each compartment and label each one with the content (colour, mix recipe, manufacturer, etc.) so I can replace as the supply gets low.  The seven compartment cases are less than $5.

That's really nice!  How much did they cost?

Hey Prof!

I just fashioned up one of these, and work excellent, as advertised.  ;D

However, I have one problem; one of the compartments is still empty! I guess I'll have to go to the store, and see if they have a solution for that....  ;)

Careful, you might just buy an extra pack of dubbing and have to start a whole new container.  OOOps, then you will have 6 more compartments to fill! http://www.flyfishbc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1981

Great idea Professori!!

Will definitely make the dubbing access a bit easier.  Incidentally, rec'd some flies while I was gone.  Some great work of yours.

Thanks,

Min
